Recipe: Squash Pie

from Moose River Handcrafts

for 9" pie plate

Crust
1 & 1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup lard
2 tablespoons water
extra flour

Filling
1 quart cooked squash, mashed
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
pinch of salt
little bit of milk powder
nutmeg
ginger
cinnamon
little bit of olive oil

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
